Happy Monday Darlings!
It's Joanna here with my first blog post using one of the newly released Magengo stamp sets 'Lucky You Are My Mom'. Honestly all the mini stamp sets from this new release are so cute, so if you haven't checked them out yet, make sure to visit the Magengo shop here: Magengo Shop
To find out more on how I made this card read on :)
Backgrounds: For the main background, I used the 'Criss-Cross' stencil and Distress Oxides in 'Squeezed Lemon' and 'Victorian Velvet'. For the polaroid shaped die cuts, I used the 'Long Noodles' stencil and Distress Oxides in 'Squeezed Lemon', 'Abandoned Coral', and 'Kitsch Flamingo'.
Images: On two white pieces of cardstock, I used the 'Lucky You Are My Mom' stamp set to create two adorable scenes, using the masking technique to build dimension within each scene, and coloured them in using alcohol markers. I also stamped two sentiments from the stamp set onto the polaroid dies using black ink.
To Finish: I glued the photo images behind the polaroid shaped dies, popped the photo elements onto foam tape, and placed them onto the base layer. I added some sequins to tie the whole design together.
I hope you enjoy this design. Don't forget to tag Magengo on all your creations so that we can show them some love.
Love, Jo xxx
