Hi everyone! Tinne here, and today I'm sharing a playful card with you.
I actually had another design in my mind when I was creating the kittens in the pile of wool. The effect of the copic colors I was using to color the wool was different than what was in my mind, so I altered the complete design of the card. And this is the result...
To create this card, I did A LOT of masking to create the kittens in the pile of wool. I also stamped an extra ball of wool. I cut out the images with my Silhouette Cameo, and started coloring everything with Copic markers.
To create the background, I used pattern paper from my stash. I created the baseboard by cutting a strip of white cardstock, and adding grey lines with a Copic marker. I cut every piece of cardstock slightly smaller than my basecard, using a rectangular stitched die from my stash. I glued the scene together and glued it on the basecard.
When I was laying out my images on the card, I decided I needed something to hang on the wall. So I stamped the painting from the Home sweet Home stamp set, cut it out and colored it. I used the same color scheme as the one I used for the image of the kittens.
Next I stamped the sentiment on a thin white cardstock strip, and glued two strips on top of each other to create some dimension.
And as a final step I glued everything into place on the background, using a glue pen. I put foam tape behind the kittens and the wool for dimension.
Have a nice day!
Hugs, Tinne xxx
