Happy Thursday Darlings,
It's Jo here with a card using the New Release stamp set 'It's Your Day'. How cute is this stamp set? I wanted to make sure that there were plenty of magical colours and shine incorporated into this card. To find out how I created this card, please see below :)
1. Using Distress Oxides in 'Mermaid Lagoon' and 'Kitsch Flamingo' I ink blended the two colours together, then using a leaf pattern stencil, ink blended a darker blue shade over the background. To finish off the background, I added some gold splatters using Nuvo Sparkle Spray.
2. Using the 'It's Your Day' stamp set, I stamped, coloured and cut a variety of images, adding some sparkle with the clear glitter Gelly Roll Pen. I created dimensions to the layout by adhering some images using foam tape.
3. To finish off the card, I heat embossed the sentiment on some purple cardstock, to match the colour palette, and added some see-through drops to complete the design :)
